I would not recommend renting from this landlord. Communication is consistently poor, and issues that should be handled quickly are often ignored. He shows up without notice, and interactions can feel condescending, with sexist or dismissive remarks that make tenants feel talked down to. Overall, the experience has been stressful and unprofessional.

Living here was okay, no major issues. The basement apartment didn’t get a ton of light. We moved after we got priced out of a planned rent raise.

At the time we rented, the landlords were the Bahrs. They were absent often, refused to fix issues, and withheld an inordinate amount of our security deposit for cleaning (after we scrubbed the place). We moved when they tried to raise the rent by over $100, without addressing any of the many problems (including mold).
