This apartment had so much potential, and it broke my heart to leave. Unfortunately, I would not rent from Alex again. I often felt forced to coordinate repairs myself, wasting my time, while problems with aging appliances/fixtures and poor maintenance were blamed on me. Communication was rude, defensive and inefficient, including with building staff. He deducted over $2k from my $3k+ deposit for alleged “damage”, and getting the repairs quote supporting it required repeated requests. Avoid him.

The landlord exhibited exceptional courtesy and kindness throughout my tenancy. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I highly recommend renting his property if it becomes available.
